Meet Sherine Rehman
Today’s story is from 5-and-a-half-year member Sherine Rehman, who transformed her health and fitness journey at Meridian Fitness. Concerned about her size and overall well-being, Sherine made a life-changing decision with her husband and son and started a journey to improve her lifestyle. Recently, she has been rewarded with a free membership for the whole year. Let’s learn more about her journey from herself.
Sherine’s Journey to Fitness
Five and a half years ago, I was a size 16, and everything felt challenging. My size was my constant concern, and I knew I had to make a change. Then my son told me about this gym. He said it is for everyone, and despite the age factor, you will get comfortable here quickly. Their trainers are very professional. Plus, the community here is so welcoming, so I joined Meridian Fitness.
Initially, I struggled a little because I was not in the form, and I didn’t know much about yoga. I started my journey through Pilates, Yoga, and Cardio, but it was tough for me. But the trainer was so polite and professional. She taught me and helped me alot. So, I kept up with my routine and never gave up!
However, after three and half months of consistency and efforts, I started to see my weight gradually decrease! With that, I started enjoying my exercises more, my obsession with yoga and pilates classes gradually grew. Now, I cannot think of skipping even a single class from the gym. It has become an integral part of my life that I really like! I profoundly look forward to each session and feel more active and fit than ever before.
Now I Really Feel Stronger and Lighter!
Today, my size is 10, and I feel stronger and lighter. This transformation wouldn’t have been possible without the professional guidance of my instructor. As a complete beginner, I was unsure how to do the exercises, and they were hard to perform, but my instructor’s patience, professionalism, and expertise made all the difference. She is very kind, and she tells me attentively and separately how to do every form professionally.
My instructor has been a constant source of motivation, teaching us calmly and ensuring we stay on track. Her kindness and professionalism has created a supportive atmosphere here that keeps me coming back.
Meridian Fitness has also expanded its class offerings significantly over the years, now providing a wide range of classes for all age groups. This variety has allowed me to try new things and continue to challenge myself. But I personally stick more to Yoga and Pilates. They have helped me achieve balance, flexibility, stamina, and overall fitness and wellness.
What do you love about the Meridian Fitness?
One of the best parts of my journey has been the beautiful and professional community I met at Meridian Fitness. The most delightful experience I had so far is enjoying smoothies in return for rewards. We enjoy sliding our cards and earning rewards that we can use for spa treatments, healthy juices, and smoothies. It’s a beautiful experience to sit together, enjoy our drinks, and share our goals. I think this is the best gym in this area.
I also enjoy the steam, sauna, and shower facilities here, and they are just great! They really relieve tension and fatigue and enhance the overall experience, providing a relaxing and rejuvenating environment. In my opinion, they provide complete health and wellness here. We can exercise, stretch, and relax at the same facility.
I have enjoyed every single minute of my time at Meridian Fitness. Overall, the journey from feeling concerned and overwhelmed to becoming a fitter, happier version of myself has been incredible. If you’re considering making a change, I encourage you to start small, stay consistent, and enjoy the process.
